Mammutant/Atomizer/Massacre Records/2010 CD Review

Mammutant are a band from Germany that plays a style sthat mixes industrial, death metal and thrash together and they also have an image similar to Gwar but with heavier music and this is a review of their 2010 album "Atomizer" which was released by Massacre Records.

Drums are mostly slow industrial metal style beats with some fast drumming and brutal blast beats, while the keyboars are only used to enhance atmosphere, as for the bass playing it follows the riffs that are coming out of the guitars.

Rhythm guitars use a mixture of slow, midpaced and fast riffs that mix industrial, death metal and thrash together with a good amount of melody, while the lead guitars are distorted sounding guitar solos.

Vocals are a mixture between heavy industrial and death/thrash growls and some ocassional clean singing, while the lyrics are science fiction themes that also have a ittle bit of a H.P Lovecraft influence, as for the production it sounds very professional and you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this album.

In my opinion Mammutant are a very good band and if you are a fan of industrial style death/thrash you should check this band out. RECOMMENDD TRACKS INCLUDE "Kutulu Rising" "The Fall Of Trosstus" "Kamuula Karmaljakk" and "Cyberincarcer-Ation". RECOMMENDED BUY.
